\fBCreate bulletins from SCML.\fP
.SH DESCRIPTION
.sp
scbulletin transforms the parameters of an event or an origin either to autoloc1
or to autoloc3 format.
.SS Input Modes
.sp
Two modes of parameter input are possible:
.INDENT 0.0
.IP 1. 3
Either one can fetch all necessary information from database directly
.IP 2. 3
or one can provide a representation of the origin as XML file, to transform it
to a standard format.
.UNINDENT
.sp
The first mode is the dump\-mode the second is the input\-mode. For dumping either
choose eventID or the originID. If the eventID is choosen the preferred origin
will be used.
.SS Output Modes
.sp
Different output formats are available by command\-line options:
.INDENT 0.0
.IP 1. 3
\fB\-1\fP for \fBautoloc1\fP: Print one bulletin per event.
.IP 2. 3
\fB\-3\fP for \fBautoloc3\fP: Print one bulletin per event.
.IP 3. 3
\fB\-\-fdsnws\fP for FDSNWS event text: Print one line per event. Useful for
generating event catalogs. This option offers an alternative to generating
event catalogs by fdsnws\-event\&.
.IP 4. 3
\fB\-3 \-x\fP for \fBextended autoloc3\fP\&.
.IP 5. 3
\fB\-1 \-e\fP or \fB\-3 \-e\fP for \fBenhanced\fP output at high\-precision. All times
and distances are in units of milliseconds and meters, respectively.
.UNINDENT
.sp
If called with an event or origin ID, a database connection is necessary to
fetch the corresponding object. Otherwise scbulletin will read the input source
(defaults to stdin), grab the found events or origins and dump the bulletins.
The input can be filtered by the event or origin IDs. Event and origin IDs can
be provided by scevtls and scorgls, respectively.
